Koolunga Primary School is located on a single campus on the northern boundary of the small town of Koolunga, about 170 kilometres
from Adelaide.

The school has a very proud and established tradition. The school community shows a high level of commitment to the school. The school works collaboratively with
a cluster of neighbouring schools.

Koolunga Primary School promotes high quality education in the local community. Set in spacious and well maintained grounds, KPS provides a focal point for this small country community. Delivering a high level of one-to-one instruction time, students have access to broad-based curriculum that utilises specialist teaching facilities and provides instruction in areas such as instrumental music, German language and construction technology.

The School hosts weekly meetings of the local playgroup drawing on families from neighbouring communities and continues to maintain an active and supportive parents and friends committee.

The teaching staff promotes active links with the community and encourages and supports parent/community involvement wherever possible.

The SRC is an active and motivated body consisting of the whole student body. The students elect office bearers annually and the fortnightly meetings are recognised within the School decision making procedures. Students at KPS have access to a well equipped playground, two court facilities, a range of grassed play areas, and daily access to ICTs
one-to-one computer access; interactive white boards; and a range of other digital media.
